Lon.Tras

Ways of transportation was the chosen theme for this new alphabet system, specificaly based on everyday life in 2005 in London: lift, escalators, bus, train, tube, car, skate, rollerblade, bike, wheelchair, motorbike and foot.

Once the pictures to represent the twelve 'objects' were chosen, illustrations were done, simplified to pictograms, then abstracted to glyphs that nothing have to do with the initial 'object' apparently. Each glyph has a name, therefore it's possible to read a text in lon.tras.
