Liberty (From Here to Here)

The baners were inspired in the ideal of nobility, religiosity, freedom and Arts and Crafts movement. These elements together, intend to take references of the surrounding area, to inside the cold and monochromatic architecture of the station.

They are made with silk taffeta, floc and hand embroidery. The birds are made with feathers and beads, and the flowers are Swarovski crystals. Each banner is 2,5m x 0,5m.

The poster and postcard image is a photo from the Westminster station, overlayed with vector illustrations. People in the photo were uncovered, and birds and foliage were added. In this matter the image represents the two pieces produced inspired by Westminster: the banners and video (that enfaphacizes the architecture and silence within the station).
